Our mission is to perform maintenance inspections of expressways as the "road doctor."
Just as prevention and treatment are necessary for human health, inspection and maintenance are essential for the health of roads. As part of the NEXCO Central Japan Group, we are responsible for the maintenance inspection and management of various expressways within our jurisdiction – essentially the “doctors" of the roads.” Specialists from various fields such as civil engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, communications, architecture, and landscaping work together to comprehensively support the reliability, safety, and comfort of the expressways.
To ensure a comfortable road environment, we conduct maintenance inspections, surveys, and construction management across various fields. "Safety First" is our guiding principle for all actions and decisions in our operations.

Civil Engineering (Civil Engineering & Landscaping)
We conduct daily maintenance management and surveys to provide a safe and secure highway environment for users and achieve a comfortable driving experience.
-
Maintenance inspection
Maintenance inspectionWe conduct inspections to assess the current condition of pavements, road accessories such as guardrails, and signs, with the goal of ensuring our customers can travel safely. We also identify any anomalies, monitor changes, and make necessary diagnostics to ensure the road infrastructure remains safe and well-maintained.

Detailed inspection
-
Facility Management
Facility ManagementWe assist NEXCO Central Japan in the ordering and estimation of repair, improvement, and new construction projects for road structures such as pavement, bridges, and tunnels. Additionally, we implement safety management, schedule management, and quality management to effectively oversee the construction works.

Investigation/examination
Investigation/examinationWe conduct various surveys and design tasks related to road structures such as pavement and bridges to ensure the sustainability of the advanced expressways from the perspectives of customer service and road management.
【Road Technology】
Pavement-related: Surface condition surveys & countermeasure considerations, etc.
Tunnel-related: Lining condition surveys & countermeasure considerations, road surface elevation surveys & countermeasure considerations, etc.
Geotechnical-related: Road embarkment dynamic observation surveys & countermeasure considerations, ground anchor surveys & countermeasure considerations, etc.
Environmental-related: Noise and vibration surveys & countermeasure considerations, etc.
【Structural Technology】
Concrete bridge-related: Chloride investigation & countermeasure considerations, PC cable grouting investigation & countermeasure considerations, PC steel material investigation & countermeasure considerations, etc.
Steel bridge-related: Steel deck crack investigation & countermeasure considerations, expansion device crack investigation & countermeasure considerations, etc.
【Traffic Technology】
Traffic congestion prediction, analysis of congestion occurrences, and examination of congestion reduction measures, optimization of traffic information provision (such as congestion updates), etc.
【Information Technology】
Highway management ledger maintenance, archival document organization, system development, and operational support, etc.
Facilities (Electrical, Communication, Mechanical, and Architectural)
As customer needs evolve, various facilities, equipment, and systems have become increasingly complex and sophisticated. We possess deep expertise and a broad perspective, enabling us to adapt flexibly to various themes and provide solutions effectively.
-
Maintenance management
Maintenance managementTo ensure that facilities are always in proper working condition and well-managed, we perform statistical analysis and failure analysis based on inspection results. We also create foundational documentation for inspection plans, repair plans, and maintenance plans. Additionally, we review inspection methodologies and frequencies through the PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) cycle.
-
Facility control management
-
Inspection
InspectionTo ensure that facility equipment operates properly and maintains its full performance and functionality, we conduct functional inspections and structural inspections. These inspections provide accurate assessments of the facility's current condition, monitor abnormalities and changes in its status, and make informed diagnoses to keep it running smoothly.
-
Maintenance work
Maintenance workWe collaborate with facility maintenance management tasks to perform appropriate cleaning and other necessary works. We also review the methodologies and frequencies of the tasks as needed. Additionally, to ensure the intended functionality of facilities and equipment, we conduct repairs, maintenance, and periodic inspections.

Investigation/examination
Investigation/examinationBased on customer service and management operation policies, we consider route characteristics and other factors to develop operational plans (traffic, snow and ice, maintenance, etc.). We also conduct evaluations regarding the arrangement, method, and scale of road accessories to establish fundamental principles for these matters.
