Achieves longer life of sound insulation boards

To extend the life of sound insulation boards, there were two major issues with conventional products. One is that water tends to accumulate at the bottom of the front and the back. The other was that electrolytic corrosion occurred at the contact parts of different metals because steel plates of different materials were used for the front and the back. Therefore, we reviewed the shape and material of the conventional product and developed Tough Panel as a sound insulation board with good drainage and resistance to electrolytic corrosion. The new panel solves the problems and extends the life of the sound insulation board.

Special structure to inhibit corrosion

Depending on the mechanism used to improve drainage, the Tough Panel comes in two types: the front drainage type with slits in the folded bottom of the panel, and the complete drainage type with a sloped bottom. Both types use steel plates of the same material on the front and the back, thus preventing electrical corrosion due to contact with different metals.

Two different construction types are available

For installation, the front drainage type can be used for the upper sloping part, and the complete drainage type can be used for the lower vertical part, giving flexibility according to the site conditions and budget.
